Trouser Fit Guide — Scavini

Since our beginnings in 2016, our trouser range has gradually expanded to offer a more complete wardrobe, balancing tailoring spirit with more relaxed silhouettes.

Today, three main fits form the core of our collection. Each is distinguished by subtle details in the waistband, volume, and leg line, in order to suit different tastes, uses, and body shapes.

Alongside these essential models, more distinctive fits have been added, such as our Gurkha trousers, our Hollywood trousers, and a more relaxed fit.

1. Classic Fit (S2)

Designed to be worn at the natural waist, these trousers feature a high rise and a straight cut for a sober, clean, and easy-to-wear silhouette. With no pleats, they offer a streamlined line while preserving the balance and elegance of tailored trousers.

Finishes: belt loops, horn buttons, two buttoned welt back pockets.

Since Spring/Summer 2025, an additional 1 cm has been added throughout the leg for a straighter fit.

2. Single-Pleat Fit (S3)

This fit offers an additional 1.5 cm throughout the leg compared with the classic model, creating a more generous volume and a fuller drape. It is suited to those looking for tailored trousers with a softer, less fitted appearance, while remaining clean and refined.

Finishes: inner waistband, inner ticket pocket, side adjusters, horn buttons, buttoned welt back pocket.

3. Double-Pleat Fit (S4)

Worn slightly lower on the waist, this fit presents a more precise and structured silhouette. With 1.5 cm less throughout the leg compared with the classic fit, it offers a more contained volume and a more defined leg line.

Finishes: side adjusters, two welt back pockets.

4. Hollywood Fit (HW)

Inspired by the dress trousers of Hollywood’s golden age, this fit offers an additional 1 cm throughout the leg compared with the single-pleat fit. Its offset belt loops and inward-facing pleats give it a subtly retro charm and a strong presence.

Finishes: horn buttons, two buttoned flap back pockets.

5. Gurkha Fit (GS)

Inspired by the military trousers of the same name, the cross-over waistband allows for precise adjustment at the waist while adding a strong visual presence. The two inward-facing pleats structure the upper part of the trousers and naturally support the drape of the leg.

Finishes: two welt back pockets fastened with horn buttons.

6. Relaxed Fit (JGS)

This fit reinterprets the elasticated waist in a dressed-up spirit. The outward-facing pleat adds volume and structures the silhouette, while the inner drawstring allows the waist to be adjusted without altering the overall appearance. The zipped fly preserves a construction close to that of dress trousers.

Finishes: elasticated waistband fastened with a hook-and-bar closure, inner drawstring, welt back pocket.
